Research Outline

To solve problems that arise in the ocean, it is important to have direct visualization of the target organisms to be observed. For this reason, I am focusing on using state-of-the-art measurement methods to solve various problems surrounding marine ecosystems.
Using acoustic measurements to grasp the distribution and abundance of target organisms in a short time and over a wide area, and adding telemetry and biologging methods to acoustic measurements, it is possible to determine the behavior patterns and habitat ranges of the target organisms. The basic data obtained by these methods will provide suggestions for solving problems in marine ecosystems.
