Research Outline

My focus is on the works of two Hungarian film maker Miklós Jancsó and Béla Tarr from two aspects. First one is the problem of cinematic expression – how do they represent their thoughts on film. Also the cinematic space of their films from a cognitive point of view. This comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach helps us to deepen our understanding not only the cinematic world of Jancsó and Tarr but may give us new study results on the film space as well.
