Faculty Development Program for Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (Employed PD, etc.)
At L-Station, we offer the Faculty Development Program to Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (Employed PD, etc.)* who are directly employed by Hokkaido University.(For inquiries regarding this system, please contact the administrative staff in charge of Research Fellowship for Young Scientists in each department listed at the link below.)
In addition to strengthening research capabilities, the program aims to foster educational and management skills, thereby cultivating well-rounded researchers who can contribute comprehensively to research, education, and university governance.
The program is structured around three core competencies: Research Capability, Teaching Capability, and Management Capability. These are systematically developed through the following categories: Faculty Literacy, HU Literacy, and On-the-Job Training. By integrating these components, the program promotes synergistic learning outcomes that lead to tangible professional development and academic and educational achievements.

* “Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (Employed PD, etc.)” refers to Postdoctoral Fellows (PD, RPD, CPD) who are directly employed by their host institutions under the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) program “Support for Employment of Young Researchers to Improve Research Environments.”
