Outline

Personalized medicine is one of the significant challenges for realizing healthcare in Society 5.0. In order to realize personalized medicine, it is necessary to measure a patient’s condition rapidly without any complicated procedures and to produce nanomedicines suitable for each patient.

I am trying to develop microfluidic devices which integrate unit operations, such as mixing, reaction, separation, and measurement for diagnostics and nanomedicine production necessary for the realization of personalized medicine. Currently, I am focusing on the development of microfluidic devices for lipid nanoparticle production using COVID-19 vaccines.
